The Backstage Foundation Workshops and Intensives program provides scholarships for dancers to be able to attend professionally instructed single or multi-day workshops/intensives.

Through our program participants are provided with safe community, confidence building, increased creativity, instruction for mind-body connection and emotional expression, core value training, and skills that can be applied not only in dance education but in their future endeavors.

The workshops and intensives challenge dancers to explore outside their comfort zone in a safe environment and provides opportunities to connect in community with one another and perform in various community settings. 

Our goal is to provide opportunities for dancers to experience professional training, mentorship, and industry education in order to increase their skill levels, confidence, and to better prepare them for a professional career in the performing arts.
